Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Ireland is an integral part of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and his legitimate successors as its supreme head and the local head of Jacobite Syrian Christian Church in India is the Catholicos, ordained by and accountable to the Patriarch of Antioch.
Patriarch of Anticoh His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II is the supreme head of this church.

Faith and Traditions
The Jacobite Syrian Orthodox church Ireland accepts only three Ecumenical Synods namely Nicea (A.D.325), Constantinople (A.D. 381) and Ephesus (A. D. 431) as the universal Synods. The Church meticulously observe all faith declaration of the Nicean Creed.
The church believes that Jesus Christ is one Person out of two natures namely human and divine. He is perfect man and perfect God.
